Calvary Computer Lab

Calvary students receive a computer curriculum that meets or exceeds ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) standards. Third through eighth grade students take weekly computer classes that focus on keyboarding and a carefully designed technology curriculum that includes age-appropriate keyboarding, Microsoft Office 365, coding, and web and game programming.


The lab features:
  • 22 Dell computers
    running Windows 10 and
  • Raspberry Pi 3 and Kindle HD tablets
  • Epson WP4020 color printer
  • HP Scanner
  • Ipen and Wacom Intuos graphics tablets
  • Sony, flipcam, and JVC camcorders
  • Classroom computer projector
  • CD, DVD, and Blu Ray readers/burners
  • Video and audio recording facilities
  • Networked connections to all school computers and printers
  • WebRoot web protection and filtering


The Computer Lab is open during school hours and until 5:00pm weekdays, subject to staff availability. Grades 3-8 may use the lab for school work after school.

Schoolwork - including typing, spelling practice, and assignments - must be up to date before doing any other computer lab activities.

The computer lab is a classroom, and classroom behavior is required. Internet access is filtered on all student computers.
