Cindy and Myron Schroer's cousin Jan from Indiana was just informed of an abnormal mammogram that indicates cancer. She sees a specialist on Thursday. Pray for good results and all to be fine.

God is so Great! My friend Lynn's surgery went well. The Lord heard our prayers and the lumpectomy and removal of lymph nodes was all that was needed so far. We will find out Tuesday if all cancer was removed and we stay positive it was.After Tuesday we will see what the next steps are for recovery.Thank You for all prayers.

Betty Nickles Memorial Service will be at Calvary on Monday, June 28 at 11am. The family will provide food and paper goods. We could use help in the kitchen setting up around 9:30am. Let Church know if you are available.

Prayers of peace and comfort for Sid Nickles and family; Betty passed away sometime late this afternoon. I have no details. Just got word from Dave Mueller. Will send more details when available. Holly

Please pray for my good friend Lynn Rumble she found a lump in her breast that is cancer also one lymph node is cancerous. She will have a lumpectomy and removal of lymph nodes as well.Our prayer is that all cancer is removed and full recovery.

Update on Briana's surgery yesterday, She is doing well and the doctor said it looked benign, but we will have results in about a week. I am praising the Lord as her pastor and his wife and youth leaders and a group were there before surgery to pray with her. She has a great support group at her church.

I saw the doctor yesterday and he said my wrist should heal on its own, so no surgery. I will have a cast for about 4-5 more weeks.

Prayers for David Babb, Linda Dutton is his helper, who is in St. Rose, in the final stages of cancer. Pray for him to be calm and peaceful, and for Linda as she is his main care-giver.

This is an update on surgery for Briana. Her surgery is friday the 18th at 7 a.m. Her pre-op is wednesday. She had stated she is experiencing some nervousness. I appreciate all your prayers for her. Please also pray for a friend of the family, Kevin, and his mom Mary. She is in the last stages of cancer, and was sent home to die. Please pray for a quick release and comfort for all involved.

Please pray for a friend of a friend of my daughter Tiffany. She was recently in a very serious car accident and thrown from the car. I have no details other than that. Please pray for injuries to be minimal. I will update as soon as I know more.

I will be applying for a job I have been praying would become available. Please pray I will meet the requirements of the position and that I will have confidence when/if I interview and that I will clearly convey my qualifications. In Him all things are possible.

Prayers of healing for Gloria Day who fell last Friday and broke her wrist. They will do a CT scan tomorrow to find out the extent of the damage and then cast her. Pray for good results.

FYI: Tomorrow, Friday, June 11 will be my last day in the church office before summer vacation. I will return mid- August. You will be in the capable hands of Jessica Strom. She will be in the church office Tues.- Fri. from 8:30am- 4pm. You may communicate with her via this same email address for needs or prayer requests or by calling the church office 278-2555.

Reminder of our summer schedule:

ONE 9am service beginning July 4 through September 5. We will have adult bible study and children's Sunday school at 10:30am.

We will return to two services on September 12.
On September 26 we will have ONE 10am service celebrating CLS 60th anniversary.

Prayers for Blenda Schultz's father. He returns to doctor tomorrow. He was finally diagnosed with "pre" leukemia. Because of his age, he is not a candidate for a bonemarrow transplant. They will do what they can to deal with the anemia to help give him energy.

Please pray for Joel Kerschen, Executive Director of CNH District Education, as he is hospitalized at Stanford for heart issues. Prayers for healing and comfort for Joel and for his family. Also, for guidance for the doctors in determining the best course of action needed.

Prayers requested for Timothy Luehrs ,Gerry's nephew, who is now in surgery (he is having an aneurysm repaired and an aortic valve replacement). Pray for peace for all family members and that the surgery will be successful. Also pray for a speedy recovery.

Jan and Gene Curler's grand daughter, Briana did not have a biopsy. The doctor did an ultra sound and feels the tumor is benign. It is about the size of a golf ball. They will remove it in about a week.

Tomorrow, Bill and Chris McClain, Maren Giannini, Ryan and Jamie Ernst, Lisa and Taryn Wright, and Bill Martchenke will be leaving for 10 days of mission work in El Salvador. Please pray for God's guidance, protection, and grace as they work with the people of Santa Ana.

Prayers for Pat Dailey as she prepares for a colonoscopy tomorrow to determine if their is blood leakage. Her blood count is still very low and the doctors are trying to find a cause. Pray for success in determining the source of her low count.

Briana's biopsy is june 2 at 8:20 am and I will update as soon as I know anything, thanks for all your prayers!

Also Betty Cooper went to the doctor today, and she is suffering from a serious sinus infection and bronchitis. She is on meds keep her in prayer especially that she won't have to go into the hospital. They are also wanting her to gain weight.

Dearest Friends & Family,
I need some prayers for our youth pastor Chris Charon & his wife Jenn. Chris works for the Baptist church that has the school I now teach kindergarten at: Eastmont Community Church & School. They have had difficulties getting pregnant - it's been an incredibly rough road for them to become parents...Their daughter Jaydon is due in three weeks. A few days ago - they received news that there is a serious, possibly fatal, problem. Their letters to the church say it 1,000 times better than I ever could and show you a small glimpse of the amazing couple I have come to know. What a privilege it is to be able to ask family, friends and fellow Christians to pray for a family they may never meet - until we stand before our Father's throne. Our God is bigger than our hearts & knows all things...His plan for each of us is perfect. I thank you ahead of time for your prayers, if you would like to put this on the prayer chains at your churches - it would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you do - so I can keep you updated. - Romans 8:26: In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

PCC Fast and Prayer,
I am hoping that we will have a good turnout for the fast and prayer at PCC June 6th at 4pm. I realize that not everyone can fast, for medical reasons or otherwise. Please feel that you can come to pray and support PCC on June 6th. We are looking forward to a time of prayer together. If we have a large enough group we will split up into several rooms to pray. There is little power like that of prayer, so come to pray fervently and earnestly for God to give us help, direction and financial support. Tell your pastors and church leaders to pray as well. Tell your church prayer ministries to pray. Keep PCC before the Lord all of this week.

(Gerry had this same thing done about 15 years ago but his was an emergency because the aneurysm had burst.) Pray for peace for all family members and that the surgery will be successful.
