February Eprayer Updates

I would like to request prayers for the re-enrollment process...it seems to be going rather slow...I need a dose of patience! Also, I have two tours tomorrow...pray for the Lord's blessings on the tours. (2 new families with 1 child each...1 for Kdg. & 1 for 6th grade)
This time of the year always causes feelings of anxiousness...but, God is in control and He will continue to bless us. Thanks for you support and prayers.

Prayers of thanksgiving! Jackson Wilkins' CT scan came back negative, after suffering a fall. He is responding fine, and smiling. Children's will keep him over night just to observe. Thank you for your prayers! God is Great!!

Prayers of thanksgiving for Jan Curlers friend, Jamie whose back surgery was successful. Pray for continued healing. He is running a slight fever so they are watching him closely.

Also, pray for Gene Curler who will be having cataract surgery next Weds. Pray for him to remain calm and not be anxious and for the procedure to be a success.

Prayers for Joey Ramos who was taken into the hospital last night with discomfort in his chest. He is home now, but has been put on medication to help clear up congestion in his lungs. Pray for complete healing.

Dear friends,
A few months ago we dedicated a prayer quilt to my friend, Helen Ryder, who lives in rural Virginia and has been suffering from ALS (Lou Gherig's disease) for the past two years. I have been told the quilt has brought her much comfort and she loves it.

I learned this week that Helen is now in the hospital, gravely ill, not able to breathe on her own or communicate with her family. It is just a matter of time before the Lord takes her home with Him to be at peace in the shelter of his wings.
In the meantime, this is a very difficult and trying time on her children, her elderly mother and her siblings. Helen is in a hospital over 100 miles away from the family and the snow storms of this past weekend have made it next to impossible for them to either get to the hospital to be with her, or leave the hospital once there. They were snowed in at the hospital on Sunday.

I ask that you keep Helen and her family in your prayers. That they will continue to trust in the Lord, and that He will soon bring Helen the peace and loving comfort her faith in Him has always provided.

Hello Friends and Family,
Glorias surgery is next tusday the 16th. Her flight to Baltimore this morning was cancelled due to the snow issues there. Please pray for God to relieve some of the snow excess there so that we can all arrive safely prior to her surgery. These cancellations keep you sitting on the edge of your seat!

So the surgery is for Tuesday, and the main prayer is for Gloria's safety, of course. But I am also asking for prayers that the doctors are able to successfully complete the necessary revision of her urinary and digestive tracts. I pray the doctors will find a way around all of the barriers of scar tissue and any other unknown complications. After the surgery, I pray for her pain to be minimized, and zero complications!

Thanks to everyone for all your prayers. As you know it means so much to know that she is being lifted up by so many caring people! I will keep you up to date on the outcome ASAP!

Prayers of thanksgiving for Al Naiman- he had his pacemaker put in today with no complications. He will be at Summit for the night and if all goes well, will be discharged tomorrow.

Please pray for Tom and Judy Schneider, all the Hartman and Ramsour families. Jeanne (Judy's) Sister has been given a short time to live, hopice is with her. Jeanne is a wonderful Christian Lady and a good friend. She received a Prayer Quilt from Calvary and has been on our e-prayers since we first found out she had Cancer. Our Prayer for Jeanne is to have a peaceful, painless passing and for God to surround all the family in their time of sadness.

Prayers of healing for Frank Mitchell; he fell on his back during the youth ski trip on Saturday. He is experiencing a lot of pain.
